I grew up in several different places over the course of my life, including Japan, Malaysia, Australia, California, and Washington State. This movement fostered in me an intense passion for travel and the outdoors. I moved to Victoria to study Recreation and Health Education at the University of Victoria in 2014, and have since been captivated by the vast array of recreation opportunities on the Island. I'm passionate about swimming and all things outdoors, especially hiking, canoeing, skiing, and finding secluded places to set up camp. I'm particularly interested in improving access to outdoor recreation for all individuals, and especially those living with disabilities, and would like to pursue this interest throughout my life and career.
